HFA Venerates Ash Wednesday

Last February 10, 2016, the Grade School Department of Holy Family Academy had Holy Mass in the Holy Rosary Parish Church in celebration of the Ash Wednesday. It was facilitated by Fr. Lord Kristoffer Beltran. The participants were the Benedictine Sisters, administrators, teachers and Grades 3 to 6 pupils.

In this Eucharistic celebration, Fr. Lord vividly explained the importance and true meaning of fasting and abstinence. He even inculcated to the minds of the attendees the real essence of Lent in our spiritual lives as Catholics. He even added not to forget doing Lenten sacrifices.

This celebration was indeed a worthwhile activity to be celebrated wholeheartedly. It marked the beginning of the Lenten Season. It was about the Holy sacrifices of Jesus Christ to save us from our earthly sins.
