Objective
As an integral part of Holy Family Academy’s educational offerings, L.I.N.G.A.P. (stands for Linkages and Resource, Instructional Activities, Needs Assessment / Inventory, Goal Sharing Interaction, Awareness and Orientation, Planning and Research) Center shares and supports the school’s thrust towards spiritual formation, academic excellence and social awareness of its students through its services. Hence, L.I.N.G.A.P. Center aims to assist the students in their integral development toward wholeness.
Services:
1. Linkages and Resource
The center acts as source of information needed by the school community, particularly the students. It locates and disseminates information to assist students make choices about educational, career and personal goals.

2. Instructional Services
Instructional Service aims to impart information or teaches new skills. These instructional sessions are less inhibitive and more facilitative in encouraging students to ask questions and share opinions about important issues.
The approach used in instructional session is preventive and is most directly concerned with acquiring information, gaining orientation to new problems, planning and implementing classroom based activities.

3. Needs Assessment/Inventory
Needs Assessment aims to identify students’ strengths and weaknesses and specifies priorities for improving students’ achievement and meeting challenging academic standards. It provides and analyzes data that can be invaluable in implementing the school’s thrust.
It also aims to explore and verify the underlying causes of an identified issue/s and to select appropriate solutions and goals.

4. Goal Sharing Interaction
This aims to facilitate deeper self understanding and self-acceptance and focuses on the conscious thoughts and behavior of the students/group. Through the students’ interactions social skills and interpersonal abilities can be enriched to help them cope with the developmental task in their personal- social areas. Students can develop sensitivity to the needs of others which result in increased recognition of responsibility for their own behavior.

5. Awareness and Orientation
Awareness and Orientation service aims to update and acquaint the students and parents with the school’s activities and programs as well as different issues concerning them.
The Center is involved in organizing and sponsoring fora, workshops, training, seminars, talks/ symposia on topics of relevance and interest to the school community.
Orientation service is carried out through the joint efforts of the administrators, teachers, LINGAP Staff and other school personnel and student leaders.

6. Planning and Research
LINGAP Center assists the administrators and teachers evaluate programs that enhance students’ learning and development. Services rendered to the school community include the following:
• survey and studies/ researches
• follow up of graduates
• evaluation of teachers by students
• evaluation of curricula in terms of relevance to the students’ needs
• consultation, meeting and conferences with teachers, administrators and parents to discuss pertinent information about the students.
• disseminate information and findings about students’ performance to administrators, teachers and parents through meetings, circulars, reports and articulation.
