THE HOMECOMING OF AN ALUMNUS – GS BATCH 1965
AS GS FACULTY RETREAT MASTER HELD JUNE 6 & 7, 2016

THE grade school faculty retreat was held last June 6 & 7, 2016. The retreat master was an alumnus, Fr. Armand Dytianquin Robleza, SDB. Father belongs to the GS batch of 1965. His homecoming took place 51 years after his grade school graduation. He was ordained priest of the Salesians of Don Bosco on Dec. 8, 1980. He finished his degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education at the Don Bosco Seminary College, and his Bachelor of Science in Sacred Theology, cum laude, at the University of Santo Tomas. His Real and Bond storybooks for children are consistent winners in the Catholic Mass Media Awards. His CodeRed family magazine and Yearbook on the Filipino Youth were awarded the PRSP Award of Excellence, and the Changing Face of the Filipino which he spearhead garnered the Bronze Anvil Award of the PRSP. He also published his Up Close and Personal: Notes on the Enneagram, and Stay, Wait, and Pray: A Prayer School. At present he busies himself as the Chairperson of the Office of Salesian Parish Ministry, Adviser to the Young Adults Ministry of Don Bosco, and chaplain of San Miguel Corporation.
